· Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting and investigating services.

• Provide and integrate engineering solution or designs for asset creation

• Develop and approve discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures, work practices and specifications

• Provide input into discipline specific technology vison strategy and direction setting

• Conduct discipline specific technology research

• Participate in national and international technical forums

• Provide professional technical leadership

Minimum requirements

o Qualification(s):

• B Tech/National Higher Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits

o Related Minimum Experience:

• 4 years’ related experience in technical experience and engineering related technologies

• Experience in engineering planning and design, design integration and engineering management in relevant technologies for power stations/substations, electrical network.

o Professional Registration:

• Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as Professional Technologist
