Unlock Your Potential! We’re looking for a passionate Project Coordinator – Fixed Term Contract (6 months) to join our NBL Durban Tea in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful incumbent will assist the Projects Department with planning and implementing multiple projects within a manufacturing environment to drive capacity-enabling changes in the plants. A proven track record of handling multiple plant equipment projects is essential for success in this role.

Job Specification:

Key Performance Areas:

• Liaise with suppliers concerning the design and manufacture of equipment.
• Installation of Capital Projects.
• Ensure project installations meet the proposed requirements and standards for National Brands Limited.
• Management of Contractors and internal resources.
• Project progress reporting.
• Co-ordinate the activities associated with the management of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) in the department.
• Assist in the preparation of capital vote applications.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in FMCG.
• Experience in Food Manufacturing advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Trade-tested Millwright/Fitter and Turner with a minimum of N4 qualification.
• Forklift license will be advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Strong technical attributes in Mechanical and Electrical Fitting.
• Equipment installation experience.
• MS Office, MS Projects, AutoCAD will be an advantage.
