To provide comprehensive people administration, coordination, reporting, budget management, and employee experience support to the People team. The role is responsible for coordinating HR processes, managing budgets and invoices, supporting payroll administration, coordinating learning and development initiatives, and ensuring effective communication and engagement across the division.
1. Budget Management and Financial Administration
- Assist the People Director in preparing and managing the annual HR budget based on historical expenditure and business requirements.
- Monitor and track HR expenditure against approved budgets.
- Process invoices on DAX and ensure timely submission to Finance for payment.
- Maintain accurate records of all HR-related expenses and invoices.
- Conduct monthly budget reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Manage and reconcile monthly petty cash expenditure relating to HR activities.
- Monitor training budgets and track compliance training expenditure.
- Liaise with HR Business Partners and Regional People Coordinators regarding training budget utilisation and compliance concerns.
- Administer learnership budgets, including monitoring travel-related costs.
- Approve travel arrangements and associated costs in line with the company Travel Policy.
2. HR Administration, Communication and Coordination
- Coordinate and communicate employee milestones and recognition initiatives, including birthdays, service anniversaries, and long-service awards.
- Respond to and resolve general HR-related queries from employees and managers.
- Coordinate learning and development activities with the Academy, including: Training bookings, training logistics, vendor payments, invoice processing, training record maintenance.
- Coordinate and support employee engagement and culture initiatives, including Team building events, farewells & employee recognition activities
- Arrange venues, catering, logistics, and communications for divisional events.
- Communicate bursary and study loan opportunities to support Centre and operational employees.
- Coordinate onboarding and transfer processes.
- Ensure Health & Safety Representatives are appointed, trained, and compliant with legislative requirements.

Education
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
