Description
PSP Animal Feeds, part of the SSK Group, currently has a career opportunity at its Animal Feed Manufacturing plant in Cookhouse, in the Eastern Cape. The successful candidate will operate forklifts to safely move, load, and unload raw materials and finished feed within the plant.
Responsibilities- Safely operate forklifts within the factory premises.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished feed according to production requirements.
- Support the production team by efficiently moving materials.
- Inspect and maintain forklifts according to safety procedures.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment in the plant.
- Assist with general operational tasks as required.
- Adhere to all food safety, quality control, and safety standards.
Requirements- Valid forklift certificate (forklift license).
- Experience in operating forklifts in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding manual tasks.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player.
- Ability to work shifts if required.
