The Advtech Schools Division leads the private sector in the field of education, contributing meaningfully towards the sustainable development of human capacity in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Brand Accountant and Campus Bursars.
- Ensure compliance with financial processes, procedures, policies and internal controls.
- Assist with finance-related projects and administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices, slips, delivery notes and supporting documentation from school administration staff.
Student Administration & Revenue Assurance
- Process and compile learner withdrawal documentation.
- Compile learner transfer documentation between campuses.
- Assist with validation hold reviews and the lifting of approved validation holds.
- Review attendance reconciliations and identify potential billing discrepancies from a "bums-on-seats" perspective.
- Support Campus Bursars in ensuring learner billing accuracy and completeness.
Debtors Support
- Assist with debtor management campaigns and parent account follow-ups.
- Participate in debtor calling campaigns as directed by Campus Bursars.
Procurement Administration
- Coordinate procurement requests
- Raise purchase orders for:
- Makro purchases
- Builders Warehouse purchases
- Procurement card reloads and purchases
- Other approved operational purchases
- Track procurement requests and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Follow up on outstanding approvals and supplier queries.
- Maintain vendor documentation and support new vendor onboarding.
- Assist staff with procurement-related queries and requests.
Stakeholder Support
- Work closely with Campus Bursars across the portfolio.
- Build effective relationships with school staff, suppliers, GSS, and other internal stakeholders.
- Provide professional, responsive, and service-oriented support to all campuses.

Education & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma or Certificate in Finance, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Valid driver's license and own transport advantageous.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a finance administration, school administration, debtors administration, or similar administrative role.
- Experience working with procurement processes and supplier administration.
- Experience working with student administration, billing, or debtors processes would be advantageous.
- Experience within the education sector would be advantageous.
- Basic financial and accounting knowledge would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
