Step Into a Role That Makes an Impact! We’re seeking a Factory Finance Manager to drive success at NBL Isando Biscuits in Kempton Park, Gauteng. An opportunity has become available for a Factory Finance Manager to join our Snackworks Isando Biscuits team. This role requires a commercially astute and hands-on leader who can effectively challenge and influence technical and operational teams, develop a deep understanding of the business, and act as a strategic partner to the Operations Executive and Site Leadership Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, operational excellence, productivity initiatives, and long-term business growth.

Key Areas of Impact:
Business Partnering & Site Performance
- Partner with site leaders to improve productivity, reduce waste and strengthen profitability.
- Turn financial and operational insights into practical actions, challenging and supporting departments to deliver against site priorities.
Financial Planning, Reporting & Control
- Lead site budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting, providing clear analysis of performance and variances.
- Manage working capital, expenditure and month-end processes, ensuring accurate accounts and strong financial controls.
Product & Activity-Based Costing
- Maintain accurate standard costs, SAP bills of materials and activity-based costing models for budgets and forecasts.
- Provide costing and financial insight to support new product development and operational decisions.
Capital Investment & Asset Management
- Support capital planning, evaluate investment proposals and track expenditure and returns through post-investment reviews.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records and oversee controls for asset acquisitions, transfers and disposals.
Governance & Audits
- Manage internal and external audits and implement corrective actions.
- Uphold sound accounting practices, corporate governance and relevant site quality and compliance requirements.
People Leadership
- Recruit, develop and lead a capable finance team, with clear goals and regular performance feedback.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration and consistent delivery.
What It Takes to Succeed:
Experience that set you up for success:
- At least 10 years' Accounting or Financial Management experience (of which a minimum of 5 years at a Management level) gained within a FMCG or Manufacturing / Plant environment.
Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:
- Completed relevant qualification in Cost & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting or Similar
- Professional certifications in the relevant area will be an advantage
Additional Requirements that will enhance your impact for success:
- Experience in COSTING, BILL OF MATERIALS and administration, financial management and accounting in a manufacturing / factory environment
- Excellent understanding of standard costing principles
- Advanced computer literacy and knowledge of MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and an integrated accounting system
- SAP experience
- Project management experience.
- A good understanding of the ABC costing methodology
- It is expected that the incumbent will have an affinity for factory operational issues and be able to interact effectively with a diverse range of people across functions
